We would like to inform you that the CNB (Czech National Bank) has increased the two-week repo rate to 5.00 % per annum as of 1 April 2022.

This will result in an increase in the statutory interest rate to 13 % p.a. from 1 July 2022, in the absence of further increases in the two-week repo rate in the interim. The current annual statutory default interest rate is 11.75 % p.a.

The statutory default interest corresponds to the value of the two-week repo rate (as at 1 January and 1 July) plus 8 percentage points.
