The last measure in this respect so far, adopted on 23 March, which comes into effect on 26 March at 00:00, further significantly restricts the entrance to the Czech Republic and also the traveling from the Czech Republic for cross-border workers.
They must stay in the country for at least 21 days after entering the country now. This makes daily border-crossing impossible. Otherwise, in case of the second crossing of the borders to or from the Czech Republic within the period of 21 days, those workers have to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine or prove that they have already undergone it on the territory of the foreign country.
Please note that this relates to all Czech citizens as well as to foreigners crossing the border from the Czech Republic to Germany or Austria and vice versa (with the exception of international transport drivers, members of diplomatic missions, members of the integrated rescue system, health care professionals etc.).
