We would like to inform you that on 9 December, the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic approved the extension of the state of the emergency until midnight, 23 December 2020.

All restaurants and bars must be now closed, including the disbursement windows, at the latest at 20:00, effective from Wednesday, 9 December. The government also forbade the sale of alcohol through the disbursement windows, which accidentally included the sale of alcoholic beverages in closed containers for takeaway. This was not the intention according to the previous declarations of the government and therefore this mistake was already remedied, therefore it is possible to continue to sell alcoholic beverages in closed containers for takeaway. These rules also apply to hotel restaurants.

All other ongoing emergency measures remain in place, and the conditions for retail sales have not changed.
