UEPA opens own office in Bratislava, Slovak Republic

After many years of successful cooperations with other excellent law firms in Slovakia, UEPA now opened an own office in Bratislava. The new business unit is lead by JUDr. Marcel Máčai, an experienced attorney at law, who joined our team recently.
This step is the logic consequence of a growing demand of our clients, which can easier be dealt with through an own office in Bratislava. The UEPA advokáti s.r.o. was recently founded and two of our Partners, Andreas Ueltzhöffer and Lars Klett, are now registered as advocates with the Slovak bar. The Slovak team counts besides Marcel Máčai several Slovak native speakers, who are fluent in German and English as well.  The Slovak office is supported by the Prague unit.

At this stage the Slovak UEPA law office mainly focuses on Commercial, Corporate, M&A, Real Estate and Labour law. Other specialization will follow.

The office is seated at Zámocká 30 and can be reached under +421 2 2054 5206.

UEPA became a Member of ICC Austria

UEPA became a member of the International Chamber of Commerce Austria in June 2018. The membership follows a growing demand of our clients for their representation by the UEPA advocates in the arbitration processes, should that be in the role of a party representative or an arbitrator. Our colleague Jörg Nürnberger is an advocate in Austria and worked as Partner in DLA Piper for many years. Our colleague Philipp Chizzola is a Czech advocate and an Austrian citizen.

The ICC Austria membership helps us to develop our position on the advocacy market focusing on the Austrian businesses operating in the Czech and Slovak Republics as well as to support the Czech and Slovak businesses investing in Austria, together with our Austrian partners. Besides that, UEPA is also a member of the ICC Germany and ICC Czech Republic. UEPA Partner, Andreas Ueltzhöffer in his former position as managing partner of Schaffer & Partner in the Czech Republic was among the founders of ICC Czech Republic
