The Czech government has decided to change the emergency measures concerning the operation of retail shops selling goods and services, the operation of catering services, the operation of shopping centres as well as the conditions for public and private events.

 As of Monday 22^th November 2021, the following changed rules will apply:

• in retail shops selling goods and services, there must be no more than 1 customer per 10 m² of sales area, the space between customers must be at least 1.5 m;
• in catering establishments, no more than 6 persons may be seated at one table, excepted are persons from a shared household;
• the operators of shopping centres with a sales area of over 5 000 m² shall ensure that instructions to maintain a 1,5 metre spacing between customers are visibly displayed;
• public or private events may not be held for more than 1000 people.
