The Czech government decided on 25 October 2021 to exted the state-funded subsidy programme Antivirus A until the end of this year. This programme provides financial support for employers whose employees have been ordered to quarantine or self-isolate due to covid-19 and therefore were unable to work. The maximum contribution is set at 80% of the employee’s wage, including social security contributions, and may not exceed 39 000 CZK per employee per month. Applications under the programme can be submitted via the website of the Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
