We would like to inform you of the extension of the obligation to test employees with antigen tests. Newly, companies with 1 to 9 employees are also obligated to test their employees.

These companies are obliged to request their employees to be tested no later than by March 28th, 2021 and to perform the first testing by March 30th, 2021.

The obligation to be tested is now extended to the self-employed. From April 6th, 2021, self-employed persons may enter their workplace or place of work only if they have been tested in the past 7 days. This obligation does not apply to those self-employed persons who do not come into contact with third parties at their place of work or workplace.

The obligation to test the employees once every 7 days remains in force also for all other companies. The possible increase of the test frequency to twice a week is currently being discussed. We will keep you informed of further developments.
