Please note that the suspension of the duty to perform the electronic registration of sales (abbreviated as “EET” in Czech)  has been prolonged until the end of the year 2022.

The suspension of EET is stipulated in an amendment act that came into force on January 1^st,  2021.  This basically means, that until 31^st December 2022, there will be no obligation for businesses to register sales through the EET system, regardless of to which phase of registration the entrepreneurs belongs. Unless the Czech legislators would change their minds in the meantime, the duty to perform registrations under EET will  come into force again on January 1^st, 2023.

The above-mentioned suspension concerns the standard as well as the simplified and the special registration of sales regimes.
