Martina started her legal career in 2013 as a paralegal at the Office of the Court Executor in Ostrava. During her studies at Palacky University in Olomouc she became actively involved in a number of international Moot Court Competitions and she also studied Law at Paris-Lodron Universität in Salzburg, Austria. Martina graduated in 2015 and became a junior lawyer at a law and patent office devoted to the protection of IP rights. Martina has been a member of the UEPA team since July 2017 and continues in further legal studies, pursuing a Ph.D. degree at Palacky University in Olomouc. She is also interested in the issue of environmental refugees.

Martina Kopcová is a Czech native speaker and fluent in English and German.
